"When I found out my almost ten year lab was pregnant, I was concerned about her health, but excited about having puppies. The big day finally arrived; she went into labor on a Saturday evening. When she failed to have the pups by midnight, I was very concerned. Who would be able to help my dog in the middle of the night on Sunday? My dog seemed fine, but by 3:00am I was very worried. I called my regular vet at Black Mountain Clinic thinking it would be a waste of time. However, I was surprised when Dr. Dhillon answered. He met me at his clinic before 5:00am. A quick X-ray and an emergency c-section was started. My dog had ruptured her uterus. To my sorrow we lost the pups, but to my joy Dr. Dhillon was able to save my best friend of more than ten years. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Dhillon for his care of my dog. His genuine concern for my dog will not be forgotten."

"I have been using Dr. Dhillon for almost 13 years now since we got our first yellow lab. We now have 2 labs and Dr. Dhillon has taken care of both for their entire lives. He has always shown compassion for our concerns, respect for our wishes while at the same time exercising his responsibility to provide us with all options regarding the care of our pets-our family members. Our oldest lab has had a long history of developing lymphomas. Only one of which has been malignant. Dr. Dhillon has always balanced our desire to give our dogs good care while not breaking the bank. He has even on one occasion, when we thought we were losing our older lab to some dreaded disease, surmised almost immediately that she suffered from something simple that could be treated with medication. After a blood test confirmed his suspicions, we put her on the medicine and within a week, we had our old girl back acting like a puppy again. I will continue to use Dr. Dillon’s services and if ever asked, wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and his staff to anyone needing an honest caring veterinarian."

I am convinced that your skillful and considerate attention to his well being over the years is the primary reason for his longevity. Palmer was a stray and it was trauma and injury that first brought us to your clinic. His recovery was amazing. Thereafter, I have experienced the same quality of experience whether the purpose of our visits have been wellness/prevention or distress. "I started using this clinic many years ago. Dr. Dhillon has been great with all my dogs and is very caring and patient with my sometimes-difficult pets. I've had some dogs with complicated problems and he has always been willing to try conservative treatments before going to more expensive options. He has also been very willing to refer me to a specialist when the dog needed advanced care instead of trying to keep all the business for him. He was also very compassionate with my pets that had terminal issues, keeping them as comfortable as possible, and also answering all my questions thoroughly and offering some comfort and support to me also. I highly recommend Dr. Dhillon."

His combination of exceptional experience and caring attitude make him my choice amongst all of the other North County Vets I have used. He took the time to talk with me, explaining all aspects of preventative and corrective care - answering questions and providing recommendations. I have never been stuck waiting in his waiting room, always been seen immediately. He willingly provided his telephone number to me, telling me to feel free to call him day or night with questions. He has even volunteered to come in after closing to see my cat. His rates are better than any of the other vets I have used. I have read the other negative comments, and believe the submitters must be mistaken or talking about some other pet clinic. I have found Dr. Dhillon and his staff to be very knowledgeable, very experienced, friendly and courteous but also factual and straight forward, and always willing to go the extra mile to help."
